Peel Region is a vibrant and moving community. This database was created by a team of dedicated KHS undergraduate students to identify organizations in the neighbourhoods that comprise Peel Region that support community-based non-profit/not-for-profit sport and physical activity programming and initiatives. Provincial sport organizations [P] and national (or global) sport organizations [N] have also been identified in the list below as these governing bodies are part of the sport and physical activity landscape.
Every effort was made to create a comprehensive list but if you have a suggestion about a non-profit or not-for-profit sport and/or physical activity program or initiative not listed in this database, please contact Dr. Parissa Safai at psafai@yorku.ca.
