Faculty and students in the School of Kinesiology and Health Science routinely engage with community partners in designing, implementing and disseminating thoughtful and and leading edge community-based research. These five specific projects have been chosen because they foreground innovative community-based research from a range of disciplinary areas.
Teams of KHS undergraduate students took up the task of researching these five different projects and their data informed the video infographics created by York University's Learning Technology Services (LTS). Furthermore, they were challenged to take the data and create their own digital stories about the very faculty-led projects they researched. These two versions serve to both showcase these important community-based research projects as well as KHS students' creativity and skill in developing digital stories.
